Education
Doug graduated from California High School in San Ramon and earned a diploma in Arizona Automotive Institute. Over the years, he has kept up with all updated automotive technician trainings and seminars through national level training institutions. He is an ASE certified master automotive technician with alterative fuel and advance engine diagnostics.
Experience
Doug’s practice as an automotive technician started at Valley Import Center in 1985. He took a break from us for four years and worked as an auto tech in Modesto. But he is back with us now and we were glad to have him. Doug is a perfectionist when it comes to fixing cars and anything else. When he needed a larger truck for his daughter’s new race car, he rebuilt the cylinder heads of his old truck because of a slight rough idle (only perfectionist can tell) before he traded it in. Most of his spare time goes to building race cars and watching his daughters race them all over the state. |
