Problem with engine was successfully resolved, at a reasonable cost.

My old Geo Prison crapped out on me and they correctly diagnosed it. I gave it a major tune-up myself and the new cheap Kragen/O'reilly distributor rotor was bad. I had left the old parts on the back seat (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and they put the old rotor in and saw that it worked. One hour of diagnosis time and back on the road. Honest work!

I have had my auto's serviced here for over fifteen years. The staff is great and knowledgeable and very honest.

We were leaving for a long road trip at 7:30 am and our check engine light went on. We frantically looked for a mechanic and came upon Valley Import. Mark was so gracious, he checked the code, said we were good to go on the road trip and that if it came back on once we returned to let him know. Three months later it did come back on and we of course used Valley Import to fix the problem. They were lifesavers in a critical moment, not many businesses would help out a random new customer in a time of need like that.

Great service. How many car repair shops would call you and tell you that they misdiagnosed your repair after they put in $1200 worth of parts and labor, then fix the real issue for $800. They ate the $1200 and I got to keep the newly installed parts. They could have easily told me my 13 year old car had more issues and the new bill was going to be $2000. Thanks for being honest!!!
